Matt Stevenot
OWNER of brightstep
Prior to launching BrightStep, Matt was a corporate pilot, managing crews and flying everything from two seat tail wheel airplanes to super-midsized jets and helicopters. Matt stands out with his attention to detail, reliability, and a standard of consistency and quality.
After many disappointing interactions with contractors he decided it was time for a change and BrightStep was born. When he’s not getting sticky with epoxy you can find him with his wife and two daughters hiking, fishing, camping, or cooking. During clam season you might spot the whole family on the flats of Kittery or York, Maine.

Before joining BrightStep Floor Coatings, Kyle spent 20 years with The Sherwin-Williams Company working as a certified Basic and Concrete Coating Inspector across the Caribbean, Florida, and New England. He learnt firsthand what it takes to make a floor coating look stunning and last a lifetime.
For Kyle, though, the best part of the job is simply helping people transform their spaces. Whether he’s helping a homeowner upgrade their garage or working with a business owner on a commercial floor, Kyle believes in honest communication, taking care of the details, and treating every client's space like his own. When he isn't on a job site ensuring floors are flawless, you can usually find him out on the soccer field, either playing or cheering on his son at games.
